Querying XML data with T-SQL

Matt Hartman, Software Developer City of Las Cruces NM

We will go over the XML data type, why it is used and the methods for querying XML data stored in SQL Server. We will also consider how to generate XML output from non-XML data. Finally we will look at some tools that can help you with your XML requirements.

About Matt:
Matt has over a decade of development experience, primarily in the government sector, working with a diverse toolset beginning with Visual Basic and ASP to his current work which has him focused more on the database development using SSIS, SSAS and T-SQL.
