Using ArcGIS for Power BI to Analyze Citizen Engagement in the City of Las Cruces

Matt Hartman, Senior Software Developer City of Las Cruces

Power BI allows businesses to make intelligent decisions by combining disparate datasets to create elegant visualizations. See how the City of Las Cruces is implementing reporting with ArcGIS for Power BI to answer questions about how our citizens are using the new Ask Las Cruces mobile app along with the Ask the City web application. We will look at combining on premises data collected from the applications, together with data from Google Analytics, Google Play Console and iTunes Connect. With Power BI we can create visualizations, including geographic analysis powered by ArcGIS to answer questions about how citizens are finding and using our apps, where they live and what issues they face in the city.
